The PF Women Team at our Annual Team Retreat ~ 2018 Today on Seth Godin's blog, he said: It's tempting to decide to make a profit first, then invest in training, people, facilities, promotion, customer service and most of all, doing important work. In general, though, it goes the other way. Yes, it does. If you are waiting to make a profit before you do these things, in my experience you're not going to make a profit. So many organizations, ministries and churches are struggling with financial issues. I know your pain. Max is 10 weeks old and has all his shots. Besides being a boy there are some other differences. His tail was not docked like Maddie's. Also he doesn't stick his tongue out like Maddie. He is also not deaf! Yes, we now have at least one dog that hears. This will be interesting as we are not used to it and will have to be aware that anything we do will wake him up. Maddie on the other hand sleeps through anything unless she actually feels or smells something like coffee brewing or something cooking she does not wake up.
Max is doing good with training so far. Right now he's sleeping with Jordan at night and he will take him out if he gets up and has to go potty. We will have a few months of training but ultimately Max will grow to be about the same as Maddie and they will be able to entertain one another.
Right now they are getting along just fine. While I want Maddie to have a friend I didn't want her to feel pushed aside in any way by us. It's interesting that last night Jordan took Max to his room to go to sleep and we took Maddie to ours for a while to snuggle with her before putting her in the kennel for the night. As we were doing that, she whined and whined -- for Max! That let me know that so far it looks like we made a good decision. Will keep the blog readers posted and in the meantime here are some pics of the new addition...
