The PF Women Team at our Annual Team Retreat ~ 2018 Today on Seth Godin's blog, he said: It's tempting to decide to make a profit first, then invest in training, people, facilities, promotion, customer service and most of all, doing important work. In general, though, it goes the other way. Yes, it does. If you are waiting to make a profit before you do these things, in my experience you're not going to make a profit. So many organizations, ministries and churches are struggling with financial issues. I know your pain. As anyone who follows our story knows, our ministry was in a ton of debt four years ago when I came on as director. Since that time, we've gotten out of debt and turned a profit every year. God has done amazing things through out team, for which we give Him the glory! I find that what Seth is saying here is absolutely true, with one disclaimer. For Christian leaders, spiritual disciplines must always be first. Before we started i...
1) I love looking at new nail polish colors - particularly the OPI colors. Right now Savanna and I are both wearing Gargantuan Green Grape, shown here in photo.
2) I never met a potato chip I didn't like. Well, almost never.
3) I take a bath more days of the week than a shower. I love my tub and the more challenging I think my day is going to be, the more I'm apt to start out in there than in the shower. It makes at least a little difference when I start my day off with Bath and Body Works Moonlight path, and soak a few minutes in the quietness of morning before my crazy day starts.
4) I love singing trio and quartet music.
5) Some of my best friends are so identical to me it's scary and some are so opposite of me that it's a bit strange that we can be such good friends.

Lori - Yes!! That's why I start my day with it or end with it if I've had a hard day. It's true aromatherapy. Such a relaxing scent. Everyone knows I love it. A couple in the church, one of our board members in fact, introduced me to it -- the wife uses it all the time and I noticed it, so then they got the products for me one Christmas but now others know I like it too and I have received everything from the Moonlight Path candles to the plug in air freshner, body spray, cologne, lotion, yada yada. I am crazy about it. I take one whiff of it and it puts me immediately in a calmer mood and I think, "how bizarre is that?" You're right, it's great and so much better than smoking weed. So glad I quit that. lol (I'M JUST KIDDING!!!)
Leanne - YES! You can purchase OPI colors. Most nail shops also have the bottles available for purchase. Or sometimes you will find them in a makeup store. They are a few dollars more than what you will find in a drug store, however it's worth it. The quality of the polish is better by a mile. In fact when I get my nails done I never go with anything but an OPI color even if another brand has a color I like better, the durability of the OPI color in comparison is pretty amazing. (Mine NEVER chips and I do mean NEVER.) Okay, I know, I should basically get paid for advertising for them...I'll stop there.
Michele - me neither. (sigh) As I go to try to work off these extra pounds...
