After getting the kids off to school I went back to sleep until noon. Does anyone love sleep as much as I do? I'm not quite sure. I must still be really young! All the old people I know get up really early, like 5 am. What is up with that? If I'm getting up at 5 am, it's to catch a plane or something like that. I would never do it voluntarily. Six o'clock is plenty early enough for me and that's just when I have to during the week to get Jordan and Savanna up for school.
After sleeping til' noon I got up and slowly ate breakfast instead of eating it quick like I do during the week before work. Then I read some and took a long Bath & Body Works bath. Yum! Aromatherapy - one of my fav things on the planet. Following that I went to get a nail fill. I have been stretching fills out a lot longer because of the current economic crunch and trying to cut back on everything. My nail lady has been chastising me for waiting a bit too long but I explained to her, it's either stretching it or quitting it and you know how I love my hands looking nice. Well today upon taking my polish off she goes, "yeeecch!" Bad nail fungus from waiting too long and some water was trapped under my nail. So gross. She drilled it down and put some medication on it and then put some acrylic on it. **sigh** We'll just have to keep stretching it until the bailout, buyout or whatever they call it works! (lol) I really hope I don't have to quit, but we'll see.
I was thinking recently about heaven and two things I definitely want are unlimited mani's and pedi's and someone to clean my heavenly house for me, always. My rubber gloves I wear for doing dishes will be OBSELETE because I won't be doing them, or toilets, or cleaning my fridge, or dusting. NADA! In heaven I'm going to get my nails done, eat all the PB & J I want (without gaining weight), get massages, and drink Coke Slurpees without feeling guilty. Oh and...praise the Lord. Yep, we can set all that up around the throne, can't we?
Came home and ate lunch and Teeb was starting to watch a movie that was on TV called, "Mad about Love" and we laid there and watched it. Later on I decided to do something I don't normally have time for so I cleaned out a junk drawer. Then I cleaned my bedroom, and then Larry ran 2 miles and I walked the last mile with him. It's back to finishing some things in the bedroom now til I go to bed and hopefull get a good night's sleep and get up tomorrow morning and teach my life coaching class at the church and get some work wrapped up for Sunday's Friend's Day. It's going to be a GREAT weekend at Northside...mark my words!
p.s. don't forget I also blog daily here.
