No, I don't have the flu. I'm not sick. My computer is not on the fritz. I am at district council Monday - Wednesday, which is in Tampa this year, but...although we're here in our own city, it's still morning to night meetings. No time to post.
The only thing I like now at this stage of ministry about district council is the opportunity to connect with our staff and pastor-friends. Anything else about council has lost it's luster with me over the years just due to my distain for the political machine. Being involved over the years, I've gotten to know too much, and I'm so over it.
But there's nothing like being refreshed by friends. And that, we are.
Spending time with friends make it worth the effort, time and money to be there.
